Get ready for one of Asia’s most anticipated gaming events, Gamescom Asia 2024, set to take place in Singapore from October 17-20, 2024. As the premier video game event in the region, this year’s edition promises an exciting lineup of games, esports tournaments, and entertainment. The event will once again be hosted at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, offering attendees a chance to dive deep into the world of gaming, whether they’re part of the industry or simply passionate gamers.

Starting with two business-focused days on October 17-18, the conference will provide opportunities for industry professionals to network, explore trends, and engage with game developers. The public, however, will get their hands on the fun starting October 18 when the entertainment area opens up with live demos, esports competitions, and engaging panels.

One of the main highlights this year is the return of Capcom, which will showcase its latest releases, including possible demos of its tower defense action game Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess. Furthermore, Capcom’s Street Fighter 6 is set to be a big draw, with its Pro Tour Super Premier Singapore Tournament being one of the most awaited events during the show. Fans will also be treated to a showcase of other exciting games such as the much-anticipated S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2: Heart of Chernobyl and Terratech Worlds.

Aside from gaming, attendees can expect a vibrant entertainment lineup. Headlining the main stage will be Andrew Wincott, the BAFTA-winning voice actor behind Raphael in the critically acclaimed Baldur’s Gate 3. Adding to the atmosphere, Japanese singer-songwriter Shihori will perform, making this a truly multimedia celebration of gaming culture.

With over four days of gaming and entertainment planned, Gamescom Asia is expected to be a key event for both gamers and industry players alike. The convention promises something for everyone, from immersive gaming experiences to panels with industry experts, making it a must-attend event in the gaming calendar.
